Simplicity of design (the binoculars are not waterproof) coupled with the highest available grade of glass components mean that all four models deliver stunning resolution – matching any roof prism binocular costing twice the price. In addition each model benefits from a ‘combination’ multi-coating meaning different ‘coating types’ are applied individually to different components within the optical system. More costly than a universally applied single multi-coating, the process has an appreciable effect, improving colour contrast in bright sunlight at midday or low light at dawn and dusk.
The lightweight bodies are finished in a contoured natural rubber that completely covers the instruments in a protective skin. The semi-circular rib patters deliver positive handling in all weather conditions with or without gloves.
